Today it's the weather that's bleak, not the place.
This is the view outside our hotel window, of the Boise airport.
Can you tell its raining?
Surprisingly to us, Boise is a lot bigger than we thought it would be.
Much bigger than Santa Rosa, with a nice mixture of rural and urban areas.
And the people are SO FRIENDLY!
Definitely a place that I'd love to come back and explore further.
But for now, we're checking out and have a few hours to walk around downtown before we catch the shuttle to Brave Girls Camp.
We're going to seek out a famous gourmet spud place called the
where its the burgers that are "on the side" (what's not to love about that?),
and which I've heard is a favorite of foodies across the nation.
We'll let you know. Mmmmmmm.................................
So since I'm told there's no internet access up at the lodge at Brave Girls Camp,
we'll bid you adieu for now!
and please come and check back here on Saturday night,
when we'll be back in civilization and I'll be able to post about our adventure.
BRAVE GIRLS RULE!
Have a great time, girls!!! I can't wait to hear all about it!
ReplyDeleteYou three have fun and be good! Can't wait to see what you create and hear all about the fun you had! I know you will have fun ;-)
ReplyDeleteI miss everyone already! Such fun to look back at the pictures and remember. Now to put all the lessons and memories into art projects!
